mbc0
Hi, I have bought a DVBSky T982 dual DVB T/T2/C/C2 Card to replace my usb tuners and although the signal strength is perfect it does not find any channels on a scan, my usb tuners detect over 500 channels so the cabling is fine. I have installed the latest driver (Sep 2014) has anyone else run into these issues? Many Thanks in Advance.. Quote Link to comment
southlegend
I know this is relatively old, but incase you come back looking for answers (or anyone else!) then I'd like to let people know that I got mine working after digging for a few days. Mine wouldn't scan any channels but would tune into about 60% of the channels that my cheap Astrometa USB sticks had already scanned in. Now I don't know why it does this but I've found a remedy for it. I used Transedit to find some new transponders for the areas using on the 6952 symbolrate - I believe these are ex C&W areas. Now my scans pull in over 600 channels! Backup your DVB-C_uk.ini in the Transponders folder of your DVBViewer installation and then overwrite it with the one attached. Hopefully this works for you! hurda7
Symbolrate is very different among the cable-operators. A short research shows that there can be seven different symbolrates: 6900, 6875, 6950, 6111, 6250, 6790, 6952. 7 symbolrates * 6 modulations * about 100 channels = a lot of channel-scanning Edited May 20, 2015 by hurda7 Quote Link to comment

Thankfully, here in the UK we only have one DVB-C provider who operate on either 6887 or 6952. So my updates should at least help those on 6952! The next major town along from me is on 6887 but I don't know anyone there with a feed that I could use to get some transponders Quote Link to comment
