ajdulion Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Hi DVBViewer team, I bought this software the other day and I'm very happy with it! There's 1 thing I can't get to work though. The Ci module in my Terratec H7 doesn't seem to work altough I selected "Has CI module", it did work before in mediaportal perfectly. FTA channels work perfectly so it's not an issue with the Terratec itself. Could you please have a look? Tried the search and found something in German I think related to this, but can't read German. Added the support.zip so you can have a look at all the settings. Thanks, support.zip Quote
Tjod Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Try if the DVBViewer Pro (beta) 5.4 detects the card correctly. https://www.DVBViewer.tv/members/ > Beta Section Install the DVBViewer over the current installation. Options > Hardware delete both devices >> Scan Devices stop the Recording Service and try if the CI is working. And post a new support.zip for using the Recording Service stop the RS and replace the configuration folder\Config\svchardware.xml with this one svchardware.zip and configure the DVBViewer to work with the RS. http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Recording_Service_Installation_Guide#Setting_up_DVBViewer Quote
ajdulion Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 Thanks for the fast answer!, The Ci module still doesn't work with the 5.4 beta version even after replacing that file. The newly generated support.zip has been added. support.zip Quote
Tjod Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 The svchardware.xml is only for the RS. Here is a configuration folder\hardware.xml hardware.zip replace it and test with a stopped RS. (don't click on "Scan Devices" it will remove the changes made in the xml) if you use the RS you have to configure the DVBViewer if not you should uninstall the RS. Quote
ajdulion Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 Replaced hardware.xml in C:\ProgramData\CMUV\DVBViewer, the recording service turned off and restarted DVBViewer but no difference. I plan to use the recoring service, one of the reasons I bought DVBViewer, which work perfectly for FTA channels so far. Quote
cismondo Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Tjod, maybe the problem is that he doesn't have the Rev.4 of the H7. Rev. 4 has Vendor=32 like in your XML files. The Rev. 4 has USB\VID_0CCD&PID_10A5, his H7 has USB\VID_0CCD&PID_10A3. I own the new Rev.4, but unfortunately I don't know the correct Vendor-ID for the old box. Quote
Griga Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 USB\VID_0CCD&PID_10A3 It is Twinhan/AzureWave hardware. According to the support.zip in the first post it has been identified correctly with vendor = 5. Dunno why the CI module won't work... Quote
