DVBViewer won't pickup any channels

Hi,

Just came back from a 2,5 week break the other day and discovered my htpc with DVBViewer backend nog working anymore!

As frontend I use kodi and it didn't play back most channels which I thought was odd, so I did a new scan but that didn't really solve it.

However it did update some channels so I'm pretty sure the setup works just like before.

Well as nothing seemed to solve it I decided to first remove DVBViewer and manually remove all traces of it.

Still with a clean setup it won't work and even worse now it won't pickup any channels at all anymore!

When looking at the scanning screen it's obvious the signal is being picked up just like before but no (new) channels are being found, this is the exact same custom same ini as used before.

So whatever am I doing wrong and/or why can't it pickup any channels anymore?

This .ini makes no difference, I also don't see why it should make any difference.

The tuning list I've made myself; on some popular forum I'm the one updating and maintaining way back since 2003'ish.

Never had any problems really, same with my logo packs.

For your info this is the one I'm using and is more complete than yours (although those extra frequencies don't hold channels currently)

At least in the DVBViewer there are no RTSP devices and all the tuner are active. Running the RS Wizard will change this.

If you have changed it. You should look at you anti virus software. May by it is responsible for removing the DVBViewer config files.

Well I tried again as I'm quite certain I did everything as before and as it worked before; http://s000.tinyupload.com/download.php?file_id=00850402800261085344&t=0085040280026108534444862

This htpc has no anti virus software yet, it's a pretty clean install of windows 10 and had no time yet to install it before leaving.

On this screenshot you can can see recording service is running and connecting;

Everything is working and looking like before but the scanning.

The configuration looks now ok apart from the Microsoft MPEG2 Video Codec which doesn't work on Windows 10.
So for playback in the DVBViewer you need a different codec like LAV Filters (32 Bit version).

And the RS support is not enabled in the DVBViewer. What should be the case after ruing the RS Wizard.

But this should not interfere with channel scan.

I have currently not a real idea. what causes the problem.

Have you checked the antenna cable all of its plug's?

could be, though the screen shot above is showing f=306MHz which isn't an active transponder. And that was the only frequency I could see ;)

btw. the channel scan function of the DVBViewer is quite useless. Better try transedit :)
