boborg Posted December 16, 2004 Share Posted December 16, 2004 I installed a Skystar2 in a friends PC. Funny thing is that until DVBViewer is loaded the system (WinXP Pro) suffers from short freezes. Anyone seen that problem before? Quote Link to comment

Next thing could be damaged card, IRQ problem bad driver installation, directX problems..... This might be a problem with the driver release 4.2.11; if you isntall the 4.2.10 or the 4.3.0, the problem will not occur. After you removed the device in device manager, you should remove the file C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\skynet.sys.
