quack
Hi there, I don't know why but recordinds made through Recording Service cannot be opened in VLC (but they play well in DVBViewer). If I record directly from DVBViewer (not using Recording Service), the files can be played by VLC. Here is an example of a VLC-non-working recording : http://www.megafileupload.com/bguF/2016-07-02_19-53-13_TF1_HD+_(fra)_.ts Can you help me ? Many thanks Link to comment
Griga
Here is an example of a VLC-non-working recording VLC plays it here quite happily However, there is a known VLC bug. It can't cope with the EPG Information files (*.txt) created by the RS. It tries to read them as subtitle file and fails badly. Link to comment
quack
You're absolutely right, VLC messes up with the EPG information file. Once I rename it, it's good to go. Thank you for your help Link to comment
Tjod
Or change the setting in VLC Player (disable subtitle auto detection) http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/39368-file-format-for-recording-service/ Link to comment
