keirjohnharry Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Hi Everyone Today I installed DVBViewer and DVBViewer Recording Service (Ver 1.3.2) , I love it but cant actually get it to work. The service opens and when I change the port it is visibly open in TCPViewer. Interestingly there are a number of DVBViewer.exe open when the service is running , assigning themselves to the correct ports , but twice , there are two instances open on every port , I cannot prevent this even when restarting the service. When I open the webpage either manually through any number of IPs or through the taskbar link , it opens the correct page and never connects , constantly loading a page , not even asking for auth details. I have tried to install it on both my HTPC and Laptop just to see if something was wrong , I turned off all firewalls etc by the way. On both of them I had the exact same issue. Here is my log , it dosent show much. 07.07.16 20:56:21.509 DVBViewer Recording Service 1.32.0.0 (beta) 07.07.16 20:56:21.509 TRecordingEngine Execute Start 07.07.16 20:56:21.510 TRecordingEngine StartService start timer 07.07.16 20:56:21.510 TRecordingEngine StartService Create plugin list 07.07.16 20:56:21.513 TRecordingEngine StartService found 0 plugins 07.07.16 20:56:21.517 TRecordingEngine StartService loadchannellist 07.07.16 20:56:21.517 TDVBDevice InitDevice No list found 07.07.16 20:56:21.517 TDVBDevice InitDevice New Devicelist 07.07.16 20:56:21.532 TRecordingEngine Start Searches load 07.07.16 20:56:21.532 TTaskList Load Tasks loaded 07.07.16 20:56:21.535 TRecordingEngine Start VCR load 07.07.16 20:56:21.535 TRecordingEngine Start EPG load 07.07.16 20:56:21.535 TRecordingEngine loadsetup load vcr 07.07.16 20:56:21.676 TRTSPWebserver Connect Could not connect 554 07.07.16 20:56:21.676 TUPnPAnnounce Start 07.07.16 20:56:21.677 TUPnPAnnounce InitWsocket 127.0.0.1 07.07.16 20:56:21.677 TUPnPAnnounce InitWsocket 192.42.42.50 07.07.16 20:56:21.681 TRecordingEngine StartService load setup 07.07.16 20:56:21.681 TRecordingEngine Recorderservice Enabled 07.07.16 20:56:21.682 TRecordingEngine Execute Stop If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Switch Options -> Resolve Adresses off in TCPView, then you can see why. 1
keirjohnharry Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 DVBVservice.exe, not DVBViewer.exe, right? Switch Options -> Resolve Adresses off in TCPView, then you can see why. Yes sorry it is DVBservice.exe Ah I see , so its one instance for every IP , that makes sense , still I would have thought if they are operating here then they should be viewable in a web browser on this PC or one pointing to it ? Port 9092 is my Web interface port for reference , although it dosent work if I change that to :80 or something else.
Griga Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 then they should be viewable in a web browser on this PC (...) Port 9092 is my Web interface port The Recording Service Web Interface should appear in a browser on the same PC after entering http://127.0.0.1:9092 as address.
keirjohnharry Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Thats what I thought , but it dosen't. The port clearly is in use by the service , but no matter what browser on any device it cannot load the webpage. It dosent even ask for a password. If I right click the icon and open Web Interface the page endlessley loads.
keirjohnharry Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Wow , I am so sorry I have finally worked out the problem , even though I disabled it my antivirus firewall was still running as a service and blocking dvb
