Scheduled recordings disappear

Hello,

I'm using DVBViewer 2.3 beta.

I have a problem with scheduled recordings. They disappear from the PVR list when shutdown DVBViewer. And when I start DVBViewer again they are gone.

Is this a known problem or is it something wrong with my setup?

It isn't the date format. Mine is in numerical format. And mine shcedules disappear only when I shut down DVBViewer, they remain if I close only the recording window.

I will tomorrow examine the ini's as you adviced in the other thread. Is it something else I should check?

Thank you for a quick reply!

Yes. Does the DVBViewer update the file Setup.ini when it is closed? Do the scheduled recordings show up in this file (open it with a text editor). Maybe write protected? Or no write access rights for the user account in which the DVBViewer is run?

Hello again!

Setup ini is not write protected and is updated everytime DVBViewer shuts down.

But the ini-file does not contain anything about scheduled recordings :)

Attached a zip file containing to screenshots an a copy of the ini file.

Don't know are they any help?

Thank you for your help!

Changed the date to format dd.MM.yyyy but still all schedules disappear at DVBViewer shutdown :)

Edit:

Is there any information I could provide to help you track down the problem?

dd.MM.yyyy

And what happens with DD.MM.YYYY

Are there some entrys, if you use the attached Setup.ini??

And when you edit one of them (e.g. the endtime) and you restart the Viewer, are they gone?? both or only one?? And when you edit the Date??

DD.MM.YYYY is not an option.

Attached a screenshot from my date settings.

No timers appear with the setup.ini you provided. And when I shutdown DVBViewer the entrys you added are gone.

Could a reinstall help?

Thank you for your help and time!

A reinstall of the Viewer?? Maybe.....

And what happens, if you execute the regfilter.exe from the DVBViewer directory before you start the viewer??

Still no go :)

I did run regfilter.exe.

I reinstalled DVBViewer.

Also noticed that altough th timer's stays in the list if I dont shutdown the DVBViewer, they dont get triggered.

With DVBViewer TE the schedulings do work.

Getting little desperate here...

Hi,

I have a problem that looks pretty similar.

When I schedule a recording (manual or through EPG) it is listed in the setup.ini,

but when the recording should start nothing happens.

I also have 2.3 beta and it has worked. I am not sure but I think it stopped working when I changed the setting to use the Microsoft scheduler.

I tried to change it back, but still no recordings!

Any suggestions??

Have you executed the regfilter.exe once before running the 2.3 Beta??

It might Help. :)

interesting....

have tried to install the 2.3 beta in a new directory?? Maybe there is something wrong with the settingsfile oder any other file. ...

guarantee that no old data exist in the installation directory. For example, your Setup.ini comes from an older version of the Viewer. avoid that (but normally it should work;) )
