SatWaveDude
This is very very strange ! I did a clean install of DVBViewer. Than I open channel list editor which was completly empty. I proceeded a scan for each satellite DVB-13, 19.2, 23.5 and 28.2. After all the scans that created four channel lists as expected. All was working well till sudden channels on 19.2 refused to open. After a DVBViewer restart almost all 19.2 channels where gone ecept 12 channels (Picture-1). I did a new scan on 19.2 but no channels where added and only found 12 new. (Picture-2) I deleted the whole 19.2 channel list and did a clean scan from scratch. (picture-3) As you can see no channels no updated channels where found. What is going on, what do I mis or what I have misdone ? I attach the support.zip This is driving me nuts please help. support.zip Quote Link to comment
Griga
The channels on the second screenshot are from Astra 28.2°E, so obviously switching to Astra 19.2° E (DiSEqC) did not work. Provided your DiSEqC settings are correct, you can try if setting
1
in your hardware.xml (see configuration folder, DVBViewer must be closed) to 2 or 3 helps. It lets DVBViewer send the DiSEqC command 2 or 3 times. Quote Link to comment
SatWaveDude
No success by changing diseqc repeating command. How can I remove DVBViewer entirely so there are no leftovers ? It must be something small because it had worked in the past. Or it could be a hardware error but for that I need to test another dvb software to verify that. Quote Link to comment

Just uninstall and let the uninstaller delete all settings. vor einer Stunde schrieb SatWaveDude: Or it could be a hardware error It could also be an outdoor equipment failure. Which kind of switch / dish are you using for receiving 4 satellite positions? Quote Link to comment
SatWaveDude
I use a 4 port Diseqc switch with a WaveFrontier T90 dish: This is the dish but I use only 4 LNB's on 13, 19.2, 23.5 ,28.2° with dual output: Quote Link to comment
SatWaveDude
Finaly I figured out the problem. It was a defective Diseqc switch, I replaced it with another one just for testing and BAM Astra 19.2° was working :-) I was playing around with the settings turns out these are the one for me: Pos A / Opt A = DiSEqC port 1 or A = Astra 28.2° Pos B / Opt A = DiSEqC port 2 or B = Astra 23.5° Pos A / Opt B = DiSEqC port 3 or C = Astra 19.2° Pos B / Opt B = DiSEqC port 4 or D = Hotbird 13° Quote Link to comment
