Does Comskip work in the demo version?

I thought I would try the demo to see how got it is at skipping adverts on UK DVB-T and DVB-T2 (freeview). After loading and indexing a .ts file I started comeskip (via ctl A) there is a brief flash of unreadable dialogue box and then nothing. Via the batch manager I set up the indexing of a file and comskip  - once the dialogue box for indexing finishes the program reverts back to a blank batch manager.

 

Does the demo version have comskip enabled or can I take it that it does not support my file format?

 

This is on a computer with the latest version of DVBViewer pro, media service and subtitles utility.

 

Any help will be useful.

The installer should load the latest com skip from here https://www.comskip.org. If you have a donator version you should replace the binary in the video editor folder. 

The output of comskip should be available in the log file which is in the configuration folder of the editor. You reach this folder if you click on the link inside the options window.

Thanks, this may be the issue as the latest version of comskip does not support windows 7.
