syd9 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 When I use DVBViewer 7.1.2.1 to playback *.ts files (recorded from Australian DVB-T terrestrial TV channels), I cannot display the subtitles. However, when using DVBViewer 6.1.7.2 or VLC Media Player for playback, the subtitles can be displayed. I have uploaded a short test video https://www.dropbox.com/s/epbb0d3x4oalfwr/subtitle_test_video.ts , recorded using DVBViewer 7.1.2.1 from a terrestrial TV channel. Can anyone else display the subtitles in this file using DVBViewer 7.1.2.1? System information is as follows: TV-card (used for DVB-T, not DVB-T2 or DVB-C): Hauppauge 1590 dualHD TV Tuner with driver version 5.2020.406.38125 Graphics Card: Intel UHD Graphics 620 with driver version 30.0.100.9864 Computer: HP Probook 640 i5-8265U with Windows 10 Pro. Support Tool files are attached. support_tool.zip Quote
Griga Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 This is a known bug (since DVBViewer Pro 7.1.1): Teletext subtitles in a TS file are not displayed. It will be fixed in the next release. If there is an urgent need for it, I can provide a beta (test) version. Quote
syd9 Posted January 11, 2022 Author Posted January 11, 2022 Thanks for the quick reply. I have now rolled back to DVBViewer Pro 7.1.0.0 , which is running well and displaying subtitles when playing *.ts files. Quote
