Tuner and CI compatibility

Hello.

For DVBViewer I was thinking in buying the

for this seems to be 2 possible CAM CI boards:

https://digitaldevices.de/en/products/dvb-components/duoflex-ci/

 

Is the DVBViewer aware of those CI? Or I need to install something from the boards supplier ?

 

So basically i  want to use that tuner with 4 encrypted channels(according to site on windows whould be possible to decrypt 4 simulatanous channels)

Yes, if "Has CI Module" is checked for the DD tuners on Settings -> Options -> Hardware. An important step may be to configure the CI <-> Tuner assignment in the DD Control Center.

 

I'm using (older) Digital Devices cards with separate CI modules, and it's working pretty well.
