linusalba Posted February 24, 2005 Share Posted February 24, 2005 Hi, I don't wanna be boring but I'd like to use DVBViewer 3 as DVD player. Have you never watch a ripped DVD with DVBViewer? How did you do? I'm using the new DVBViewer version 3.0. I've windowsXP and PowerDVD 6. If I open an .ifo file from a ripped DVD I have the error "cannot render mediafile, error 8x00040265 (cannot play back the file: the format is not s..." Bye, Marco Quote Link to comment

admi-ral Posted March 1, 2005 Share Posted March 1, 2005 y do you open the .ifo file? if I open a DVD folder i.e. "Indepence Day" within VIDEO_TS subfolder, the DVD will automatically be started but in futere there might be subtitle-support Quote Link to comment
