It is possible to receive and to record it, but it will be difficult to play it. Even if the graphics card hardware supports accelerated decoding of 8k video, it will probably refuse to do it in a 32 bit application like DVBViewer due to address space limitations. Storing decoded 8k pictures requires a lot of memory.

 

And playing 8k video without hardware acceleration... well, some time ago I managed to do it with DVBViewer and the Cyberlink HEVC decoder on a fast desktop PC (i7 CPU), but it was more or less a stop and go thing.
