Recordings not showing in web interface after DMS upgrade 3.2.4.0 in Win7

I have been running without problems recording Service with all updates and later DMS with all updates under Windows 7, without changing my setup.

I upgraded to the latest DMS via the installation file (I also upgraded DVBViewer) and all of a sudden, I cannot see any recording any longer via the web-interface. However, all recordings are done and stored in the designated directory. As a remark, my user/password for DMS is different than the user/password of the windows 7 account.

Can you help me with this issue?

Thanks

having a look to the svcdebug.log I see many errors like below:

What could be the cause?

The database disk image is malformed.

It means that your recording database file is damaged (SvcDatabase.db3 in the Database sub-directory of the DVBViewer configuration folder, see Windows start menu -> DVBViewer -> Configuration Folder).

It doesn't matter much if there are EPG info files (*.txt) for your recordings. They are a kind of external backup of the database entries. If they are present, you can stop the Media Server, remove SvcDatabase.db3, restart the Media Server and click "Update Recording Database" on the Tasks page of the Web Interface for recreating the database.

If there are no EPG info files, you are in trouble. Of course your recordings are not lost. They are still playable. However, it will be hard (and maybe impossible) to let the Media Server recognize them as recordings again. It will regard them as mere video files.

Thanks Griga. I don't have a problem with that. I just want this to work again from now on, so that when I schedule a recording, it is shown later in the web interface. How can I "reset" all?

Stop the Media Server, remove SvcDatabase.db3, restart the Media Server. It will recreate the database file automatically, but initally without any content.
