cp2
I’ve recently upgraded my DVBViewer version and have noticed a small difference. On the Recording and Device Statistics option I used to be able to right click on the recording programme’s entry and there was an option to split the recording, meaning that I could close the recording being made so far but continue recording for the rest of the planned time. Two (or more!) separate files for the total recording period. I found this useful when I was doing video capture but it in no longer there, or has it moved somewhere else? Quote Link to comment
Griga
DVBViewer 6.1.3 Changes: Am 13.1.2019 um 19:09 schrieb hackbart: Change: Recording: The TV/Radio → Recording Statistics → Recording Status context menu → “Split” menu item now requires the new tweak “Allow manual split of recordings” to become visible (see Tweaker.exe). It also lets this menu item appear in the Main Window → “Record Current Channel” submenu for ongoing manual (instant) recordings. The “Split” function lets the recorder continue the recording in a new file with a number 00x appended to the filename. The split is lossless, so that the parts can be concatenated gaplessly (e.g. by using the TSPlayer). DVBViewer is able to play them as if they were one file. However, the Media Server only considers the first part. Quote Link to comment
cp2
Thanks. I thought that it would be something like that. I’m currently in the process of moving to a new pc so I’ll give it a go once I’ve summoned the enthusuasm to finish it off. Quote Link to comment
