No Signal at all after format ! ! ! Please help...

Hello to all of you.

 

I would like your help please.

 

I have a SkyStar 2.6c card about one year now with the following system:

 

- Chaintech 9CJS Zenith (Motherboard)

- P4 2.6c Ghz HT (Processor)

- 2x Maxtor 120Gb SATA 8Mb Cache (Hard Disks)

- S/U/M/A Platinum GeForce 5600 Ultra VIVO (Graphic Card)

- Creative SB Audigy 5.1 (Sound Card)

- RealMagic XCard (Mpeg Card)

- SkyStar 2 2.6c (SAT Card)

- wave FRONTIER T90 (Dish) with 4 Universal 0.4db LNBs

LNB1 Eutelsat W3 7E

LNB2 Hotbird 13E

LNB3 Astra 19.2E

LNB4 Thor 0.8W

 

I have WinXP pro English on my system.

 

SkyStar 2 it works fine untill i make format on my Hard Disk and re-install WindowsXP...!!!

 

I have tryed the drivers 4.2.8, 4.2.10 & 4.3.0 but nothing!!! ;)

 

By then i take no Signal at all...!!! This is crazy don't you think?

 

What can i do ????????

 

If you can, help me please. Thanks for your time...

 

P.S.: I haven't a home receiver to test the signal from my Dish ;)

Hi,

 

first it might be possible, that you mixed up the drivers for the card. You should remove everything TechniSat related (drivers and software) and reinstall the latest release after you restarted the system.

If it worked before you reinstalled the machine, it also should work with the new installation.

the coaxcable is still connected?

setup4pc gives no signal?

U use diseqc right? try connecting directly to one LNB? Maybe your diseqc-settings are mixed up.
