pjmitch
Hi all I have just bought a new dvb-t pci card all is working well. My only problem is that I had hoped to down load the digital teletext that is avalible. Is this card able to capture the digital teletext. Regards Peter Quote Link to comment
Guest Oliver
The card? Of course, that's software related. What do you mean exactly with "digital teletext"? There are different versions of the DVBViewer. The Skystar2 is bundled with the TE. Normal teletext can be saved with the DVBViewer Pro. Here is an overview: http://www.DVBViewer.com/oliver/Einfuehrun...ml#einfuehrung2 Bye Quote Link to comment
pjmitch
Hi Oliver The digital teletext service that i refer to is the BBCi service on freeview. I think the same system is user to deliver the radio station logos that you can see if you use a set top box. I should mention that I recieve this service from the black hill transmitter. I was just a little let down, I had expected it to be almost the same if not better than the set top boxes that are avalible. The problem is most likley a software issue. KGM11
BBCi uses MHEG/OpenTV applications (DVB-T/-S), something completely different from traditional teletext services like Ceefax - I'm not aware of any end user-compatible implementations on the PC. Quote Link to comment
