EnoSat Posted September 18 Posted September 18 (edited) After installing TransEdit 4.3.4, the application window does not appear, although it appears in running applications. Quote Important change: Currently we are using a self signed certificate for signing our software (please read more about it here). For Windows this is the same as “unsigned”, because it can’t verify the publisher. This may trigger misleading "Windows protected your PC" warnings when launching TransEdit.exe for the first time. You need to first click "More info" and then "Run anyway" to get it going (see here). This will particularly happen if you download TransEdit_4_3_4.zip with a browser and use the Windows Explorer for extracting the content to the DVBViewer program directory. The warnings do not appear if you use 7-Zip for extracting or the DVBViewer Downloader for downloading and installing TransEdit (recommended, see Windows start menu → DVBViewer). This window did not appear The certificate in the system is: When I start TransEdit 4.3.3, everything is fine. support.zip Edited September 18 by EnoSat added support.zip Quote
EnoSat Posted September 18 Author Posted September 18 PS: When I deleted the TransEdit.ini file from the user directory after launching version 4.3.4, the application window appeared. TransEdit.ini.new.txt TransEdit.ini.old.txt Quote
EnoSat Posted September 18 Author Posted September 18 Maybe the problem was the missing DVB IPTV Type in 4.3.4 Quote

Confirmed. An old IPTV Network Device in the device list causes an infinite loop when TransEdit 4.3.4 loads the device list from the file TransEdit.ini. In your case there is an easy fix: Simply delete in your old TransEdit. ini everything from Name.3=IPTV Network Device down to (and including) the last line. However, it is not so easy if the IPTV Network device is not the last entry. Looks like I have to upload a hotfix version. Anyway, thanks for your researches! 1 Quote
