Problems on 28.2E with low resolution channels

On any channel that broadcasts at a resolution of 720 * 576 the screen is full of diagonal lines running from lower lever to upper right. These same channels display perfectly using the DVBDream app suggesting the fault lies with DVBViewer  & it's settings.

MY PC runs Windows 12.

Thanks for any help that is offered.

Try to create and append a support.zip according to the Bug Reports Box on this page. Be sure to start DVBViewer from start menu with the ".. (Debug Mode)" link, not the normal one.

A blind guess, if not already done so, is to install the LAV-Filters (ideally done by the DVBViewer Pro Downloader from start menu while DVBViewer is not running) and check that in Menu - Settings - Options - Playback Components all Video Decoders are set to "LAV Video Decoder".

Here is the support.zip file as requested.

The LAV Filters were installed at the same time as DVBViewer. and are being used.

You have switched Settings -> Options -> Playback Components -> Video Renderer to the ancient Overlay Renderer. Why? DVBViewer supports using it for compatibility with Windows XP (there are still people running it), and because it enables special effects like Desktop TV. But it is far away from being suitable for modern Graphics Cards and Windows versions. It may still work, depending on the graphics card and its driver. However, in your case it obviously does not and causes artifacts when it comes to 720x576 interlaced SD video.

Return to the DVBViewer default, which is the EVR Custom Video Renderer, or at least to the EVR Enhanced Video Renderer, which is a Windows standard component since Vista. This will most likely fix the issue.

The EVR Custom Renderer display a fixed image as the channel starts with continuous audio

The EVR Enhanced Renderer displays a blank screen and  intermittent audio.

I tested all the renderers and found that the MPC Video Renderer provides continuous video & audio streams😊

Thank you for your suggestions to solve my problem

It's strange that the EVR renderers, that usually are working pretty well in DVBViewer, are not working in your system. Must be something special related to your graphics card / graphics card driver  / driver settings.

Anyway, the MPC Video Renderer is a good choice.
