Search for movielength in EPG-Window

Hi to parents of DVD_Viewer (GE),

 

 

I use my DVBViewer in most cases as a recorder.

Normally that recordings are longer than roughly 90 min.

 

With the today searchfuction is it easy to find movies when

title (or a part of) is known. Therefore it is necessary to

read a movie guide before.

 

It could be comfortable to find movies (or news or ...) depending

from (variable?) length, which is schown in the EPG-Window, in

combination with logical operators.

 

Is that an interesting challenge als also helpful for other users?

well I can only speak for the Pro version. There are serveral projects going on in searching the EPG using the COM - Interface of the DVBViewer.

 

It should be fairly simple to implement this kind of feature.

Would it be easier if it uses the program classification information that EPG windows "detail" part is showing. There is that small colored dot and text telling if program is sport, news, movies etc.
