Morke
Hi I've been using DVBViewer (Pro) for quite a while now. Though it is rather unstable - crashes every now and then, often due to bad reception, theres no better alternative i've found yet. Now that i've upgraded to a large TFT monitor the Copression Artefacts are much more visible and distracting. I know that there are filters rounding off those artefacts naking them much less visible, but have not found how to make use of them in DVBViewer. Can you help me on this? Morke Quote Link to comment
Guest Oliver
Yes, just active post-processing in the DirectX options. Of course you need to have a corresponding filter installed. http://www.DVBViewer.com/oliver/Optionen.html#Optionen2 BTW: I don't have any crashes. Quote Link to comment
Parrothead
BTW: I don't have any crashes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Isn't that supposed to be in the signature file? :-) Quote Link to comment
Technofriend
I think elecard mpg2-Filter support postprocessing. Those artefacts are NOT the fault of DVBViewer! BTW: I don't have any crashes (using v2.2rc1). Quote Link to comment

BTW: I don't have any crashes (using v2.2rc1). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I installed the Elcard Decoders and activated it in the Direct X controls. No additional post processing filters are available. Do I have to manually turn them on? I currently use Versionb 3.0. Any later version doe not work as properly for my needs, so I have not tried them further. Which minimum version is required and how do i really activate postprocessing? Thanx Quote Link to comment
Technofriend
There must be an option in the filtersettings of the elecard-filter itself. There are options like: Decode all, decode only I-Frames, enable Postprocessing. First you must select the elecard as filter in: Settings->Options. Than you should find the elecard options under: View->Filter->Elecard. Quote Link to comment
