younick Posted October 6, 2005 Share Posted October 6, 2005 It might be handy to build in scan mode to scan the whole frequency range in 6MHz steps with both polarities & all FEC & symbol rates tried. This takes time but it makes you find channels (especially links & newsfeeds) that you would never have known about. Quote Link to comment
Derrick Posted October 6, 2005 Share Posted October 6, 2005 There are tools and plugins for blind scan (not for the DVBViewer). It only makes sense for the old hardware rev. 2.3 with auto-sr. But those cards are heating up. The newer versions 2.6 don't have auto-sr. Quote Link to comment
