daffy
Would it be possible to add a confirmation dialog to the input configuration dialog? Currently it is all too easy to press "Default" - and accidentally revert changes just because "Learn" and "Delete" were missed ;-) Steps: * Settings -> Options * Select "Input" * Press "Default" button //exp: "Are you sure that you want to rever to default settings? Yes/No" - cancel action (Esc) maps to No //act: No confirmation By the way, "Default" is *extremely* destructive in so far as it reverts every single customization to installation defaults. I suppose that (in addition to getting a confirmation dialog) this button really should be placed much farther away from everything else, e.g. ******************** Reset to defaults ----separator---- Learn mode [<--- wording change] Add Group Add Delete Edit ----separator---- Load ... Save as ... ******************** That probably increases the width of the right hand side "action" thing, but for the better and without loss to the input section on the left. [bTW, I still need to nail down what I currently don't like about the current input scheme. I smell a design defect somewhere, but can't place it ATM] Quote Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ
Ok, confirmation dialog added. If you find the design error let me know Quote Link to comment
