Lars_MQ Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Because the rec service does not crash. Most likely it gets stuck because the CI dll of the anysee driver crashes (or whatever it does to get stuck). That's why I asked to check it with the vendorID 33. The CI handling was never meant by anysee to be used for more than one card. So it's quite likely it causes trouble.

Can i try to disable anysee cam somehow? I try that vendor later today.
teknik88 Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Hi I didn't see this forum and thought I will post here also as my problem is regarding the new RS v1.9.3.0 I had a problem with this tuner before because it wasn't in the hardware database (see this post: http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/45185-realtek-dvb-tc-hybrid-tuner-problem/page__view__findpost__p__332724 ) After the new Recording Service (v1.9.3.0) there is a new problem with my tuner (REALTEK DTV Filter (6)) The Tuner is detected as it should but when I start a recording using the tuner the RS crashes and restarts. It works without problems when using it directly from DVBViewer (v4.9.0.0) and in RS v1.9.2.0. I have now disabled the tuner in RS and enabled it in DVBViewer. Because the Recording Service recreates the "svcdebug.log" during the error I have also added the file named: "svcdebug - ERROR.log" in the .ZIP file. This file is generated after the service starts and there is an active timer that starts recording from the Realtek DVB-C tuner. The tuner is detected as "DK DVBC/T DONGLE" in Windows device manager on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and the hardware id is "USB\VID_1D19&PID_8202&MI_00" The Realtek chipset is RTL2832 for the DVB-T part and for the DVB-C part RTL2840. The driver version is: 64.1.802.2010 My mainboard is Asus IPIBL-LB (Benicia) with an Intel G33 chipset (HP Pavilion Elite m9263.sc computer) 4 GB RAM and an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU. The Graphic card is an Nvidia GeForce 8600GT with driver version 258.96 Best regards Christian support.zip

That is really CI-issue. I don't have paychannel at this time, but there is two left in Channel List. Those channel hangs new service, no problem with old version. Now i just remove all paychannels. I think i will take backup copy 1.9.2.0 version...
René Eske Jensen Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 The Tuner is detected as it should but when I start a recording using the tuner the RS crashes and restarts. It works without problems when using it directly from DVBViewer (v4.9.0.0) and in RS v1.9.2.0. I have now disabled the tuner in RS and enabled it in DVBViewer. This is identical to my problem. The Tuner card works OK in DVBViewer, but not in RS, it continuously restarts. If you or anybody else has a copy of 1.9.2.0, would you be kind enough to post it? BR, René
bogdan1980 Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 (edited) I have an problem with rec service. My comp enter standby after 30 minutes, but its waken up after 2 minutes by rec service. If i stopped rec service my comp enter standby and remain in standby. My comp is wake up by rec service even if nobody watch tv on clients. How can i fix this, without stopping my rec service? I have quad q6600@3750mhz that use lots of wattage, i need standby option to be active. EDIT: i just notice an option in DVBViewer menu-recording service-send wake on lan to service PC, maybe this one is the culprit? Edited February 20, 2012 by bogdan1980

BR, René Hı everyone, I noticed since changing to 1.9.3 I also have an SVC recording issue - with my 2 Technisat SkyStar USB HD tuners. My Technisat SkyStar HD2 PCI tuner card records no problem. The two USB tuners can stream channels fine, and both work directly with DVBV 4.9. Is there something I can add to a hardware file that would allow the SVC service to recognise the usb tuners so they are available for recordings? There is a section within the file (filename from memory) svchardware.xml for Technisat/Mantis SkyStar HD2 tuner. I guess what I need is similar to that? ...or is it not that simple? Thanks for any ideas. Tony
Tjod Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 The current Recording Service Version is 1.9.4.1 http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/19629-recordingservice-beta/page__pid__357888__st__40#entry357888 no support for old versions
