Hi, we sometimes get the request if it is possible to add support for capture cards in general. Right now only Hauppauge is supported, but since a while you get a lot of interesting encoder boxes which have an hdmi input source. Mostly intended to record gaming sessions ,but i'm aware in several countries (japan, united states) they are also used to record tv. Anyhow the next beta will have general support for these kind of devices. What i need is feedback if one of your devices is not working. I tested the Hauppauge and Tevii boxes. Devices with ITE chipsets should work in general, others probably need some fine tuning.I also planned to add the ability to change the recording resolution between 1080p and 720p automatically, as well as a couple of other functions. Unluckily TNT watered my Tevii device, so i'm not able add this additional feature into the next beta. Christian

Hallo, ich habe das Problem, dass meine TeVii S480 die wunderbar funktioniert, zappt und aufnimmt, nach einer Weile (so ca über Nacht) nicht mehr ansprechbar ist. Wenn ich dann den DVBViewer starte kommt nur schwarzes Bild. Nach einem Serverneustart funktioniert alles wieder wie gewohnt. Ich habe schon in den Energieoptionen gesucht und versucht alle Stromsparmaßnahmen zu deaktivieren um auszuschließen, dass die Karte aus irgendeinem Sparmodus nicht mehr richtig aufwacht. Das hat aber keine Abhilfe geschaffen. Der 4-Pol Stromanschluss ist auch an der Karte angeschlossen. Die Konfiguration: OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 MB: Biostar TA75M+ CPU: AMD A4-3400 APU RAM: 24 Gbyte DVB-S2: TeVii S480 v.2.2 DVBViewer 5.2.9, Recording Service 1.2.8 Hat jemand eine Idee wo ich noch schauen könnte? Den Server jeden Tag neu zu starten ist keine Option für mich, er tut nämlich noch was anderes.
