in 1.9.2 beta, ffmpeg remain active in processes after i close stream on Iphone. After 3-4 hours is still there.

On other dvb software ffmpeg remain active maybe 5 minutes after i close iphone.

That why i think it's DVBViewer rec service problem.

Bogdan1980. Does it work with recording service for you using iOS5?

I just updated both DVBViewer and recording service, but i still cant choose quality and the "playbutton" is crossed over.

Im using iphone 4S (That shouldnt matter.)

I think maybe this has something to do with my broken playbutton:

"The Streaming uses the quicktime plugin for mobile Safari on the iPhone, so make sure it is activated (and JavaScript also). "

I know how to enable java, but is there a way to enable quicktime in iphone? I cant find it.

For Stigjohan76:

i use os 3.1.2 on iphone3g.

With my iphone 4, i think i have ios 4.3.3 or something, but not ios5, is working as well.

you need to go on iphone to settings, safari, and see if you have enabled plugins.

I think that is enabled by default.

Yes, the only thing i could enable was java scripts. No settings for quicktime.

Ill put my hope to reinstall ffmpeg. I really hope its not iOS5 causing trouble.

do you have an old rec service to test?

Yes, But i had this problem with an old version. So i just updated and hoped for a solution.

But still same problem.

If anyone can confirm iphone 4S and latest iOS5 working with Recording Service. Please do :)

Last RecService version + Iphone 4S with ios 5.0 works fine.

Anyone with Iphone 3g, with IOS 4.2.1 are working fine with dvb rec service?

Because i want to upgrade my IOS 312 to IOS 421.

Well if you plan to update, better install 3.1.3 and not to 4.2.1. The 4.x.x versions where the reason why i changed to an windows phone 7 resp. to iphone 4.

It works, but the whole operating system is extremely slow on a 3g.

Can you tell me what ffmpeg.exe version are you using to view live tv ?

I have iphone 4 + iOS 5.0.1 + DVB Recording Service 1.9.4.1

Thanks

Still struggling with this problem(broken playbutton),both on iphone 4S and "The new Ipad"

It works watching live TV on my computer/through PS3.

Any more advice?

Ive upgraded ffmpgeg.

is working:

ffmpeg-git-a923b6b-win32-static-ok

ffmpeg-git-b6ff81d-win32-static-ok

ffmpeg-git-01fcbdf-win32-static-ok

ffmpeg-git-ceb0dd9-win32-static-ok

ALSO, latest ffpmeg from today is working, just test right now.

Stigjohan76, try to stream with your DVBViewer on PC stopped.

Do not test with both PC DVBViewer and Iphone webpage, or dlna server, etc.

One at the time, then there s no problem playing on multiple devices on same time.

After you close DVBViewer on PC, stopped and start again dvb rec service( restart), and test.

ALSO, use ULTRAFAST when you choose encoding.

With normal setting, or default setting, cpu usage is enormous, even for my quad core 4ghz.

This tweak is for : PC webpage, iphone, android.

Finally got it working again :)

New computer, then reinstalled everything again. All newest versions.

Somehow i manage to screw it up again :)

Now i can press the playbutton, videoframe comes up but it just says loading with a black screen.

Hopefully this will be a easy way to figure out how to solve.

Hi Stigjohan!

I wonder if you could post a support.zip, which would make it possible to check what's going on when you try iphone streaming?

I'm new in the IPAD streaming world.

I've got 'the new ipad'and did everything as described here:

http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/IPhone/iPod/iPad_Support

But I have the same problem as Stigjohan76.

I saw somewhere that I have to install 'air video' but this is not on the install page.

Does anybody know what is going wrong?

By the way, streaming to my acryan works fine!
