Youtube Videostreams doesnt work for me too since a few days. Perhaps there was something changed...

But the search function works with my Hauppauge Remote control via red button.

Ok, I did some changes and Youtube works again !

 

- unregister MPC FLVSplitter.ax

- unregister MPC MP4Splitter.ax

 

in Lav Splitter uncheck flv/m4V/mp4

 

then install Haali and uncheck during install ts. and mpeg support. check avi and the rest. In Haali Option you must check "use custom media type for H264.

I found, that youtube videos can be sometimes rendered , sometimes not ... I can not reproduce this behavior. The vimeo streams work fine.

I am working on 4-level online OSD for old concinnity 3D, it is almost finished. I am loking for an action, that will directly open OSD Online. Any sugestions? Thanks Momo.

What about the action, that will directly open the Online OSD? Does it exist? I am not sure, if the action can be attached to the plugin. It would be great to have an action in OSD and for remote control ... The menu-online is of course possible, but direct action will be much better ...

Hi everyone!

 

 

You will find 3 downloads:

• Online_13_01_06.zip ==> Contains the plugin. Copy the 3 files under "Plugins" to the "Plugins" folder of your DVBViewer installation. Copy the images in the folder "OSDSkins\XYSkin\Images\Online" to the Images folder of your current OSD skin. Create a subdirectory "online" in the "images" folder and copy the images from the ZIP file to there.
• Online_Thumbs_1.zip and Online_Thumbs_2.zip ==> Optional: Contain pictures for genres and countries. Used for internet radio. Copy the contents of this zip either 1:1 to "Program Files\DVBViewer\Images" (pictures will be used globally for all skins) or to the "images" folder of yor current skin (pictures will be used for this skin only).

 

 

 

 

Sorry for the bad english but I am Italian, I added the files in the specified locations but I have two problems:

1) In OSD I see only the menu Online but if I click I see nothing

2) Where can I find the podcast editor?

 

Perhaps missing Online.xml for my OSD skin NewDefWide ?

What is new:

• Added LiveLeak for those who want it. Just create a new feed in the "Podcast" section, enter a feed name, enter "addon : / / liveleak" (without the blanks) for the Feed-URL and click on "Check". Does not work if you have set "SafeSearch=1" in the file "online.ini"
• Add HbbTV URLs in the feed editor. Requires DVBViewer 5.2.7 or later.

 

Don't forget to update the images\online directory of your OSD skin!

 

With the latest DVBViewer versions, playback of online videos became more easy, because it can use the LAV filters for all video formats now.

 

@casual: you find all the texts in the file "Plugins\online.lng"

Sorry, hab to upload another update. Deleting a feed/podcast in the editor did not send a message to the DVBViewer "Options" dialog so that the "Apply" button got enabled. Fixed

I always get this error message when i click VEVO music video on youtube:

 

I tried with LAV Splitter and Haali Media Splitter.

Any other online video works fine.

Anyone can check what happens when you click VEVO video?

Is this codec problem or youtube blocks these streams?

If it is a copyright problem, then you should see a proper error message, not this text. What happens, if you try to playback the same video from a browser? Can you provide a link to this video please? You try to access it from hungary, right?

Hm, you should see the "reason" message, not the text that DVBViewer can not render the video. I'll check this. Thank you

 

Normally, the plugin tries to fallback to the webpage in this case and tries to get the playback content from there. Maybe, youtube changed something here again.

Can you add Hungary to Youtube settings (location) when you make the next update?

I added already "Magyarország" to the localization options, but some calls to the youtube API don't give proper results. E.g. the "most popular" feed returns only 3 videos, if i query for hungary:

if i do the same for (e.g.) germany, i get what i expect:

I think, YouTube focuses on the new v3 API now and keeps some bugs in the old v2 API (?)

Hi, this is not plugin related. To add cyrillic chars you have to edit the language file. There you find a section named LabelShift, LabelShort etc. which is used for the keyboard

Hi Casual, thank you for the feedback. I could not find any changes on YouTube site for determining the playback URL of a video for the two methods that i use.

 

Unfortunately, the YouTube v2 Api has got some glitches the last time, i'm still investigating if i can change my code here without using the v3 API where everything is completely different.

• You can import a .ini file with station names (e.g. the HbbTV "mybrowser.ini").

YouTube changed something again for correct URL determinition. Officially, the 1920x1080p MP4 and 640x480 flv formats are no longer available in the "fmt_list" anymore, but YouTube still offers 1080p playback and there is a new "adaptive_fmts" list... I will check this...

I uploaded another update: Due to changes on YouTube side, the playback resolutions 4k, 1920x1080 and 640x480 are not available at the moment. For the resolution 640x480, the online plugin failed to choose the next lower resolution 640x360 because there are some alternatives for this format. It used the worst quality 400x240 in this case.

 

I fixed that so that all available resolutions 640x360p are detected and used now. If the only alternative would be VP8, then VP8 is used. The LAV filters are capable of playing back VP8.

• Fix: Adding a Vimeo channel to the channel list within the OSD did not work.
• New: Edit/Add/Delete Vimeo channels and groups in the podcast editor.
• New: You can also add Vimeo groups now when you put the prefix group: in front of the name. E.g. "shortfilm" accesses the channel "Short Films" and "group:shortfilm" accesses the group "Short Films"
