To help me perhaps all following details can be useful (sorry for bad english): Windows XP sp3, cabled LAN on 2 PCs (1 iMac, 1 winxp, this) router con DHCP not configurable. into DVBViewer pro 5.3.1.0 options: RS connection failed, hardware: technisat Skystar S2 (flow settings?), but clear. into Recording Service: webserver tested port 8089, 5050 (last surely opened on router), config.: server AV upnp [ ], Dvb server [√], RTSP [√], vlc (last version 2.1) Installation on All User (mode=2) Extract (errors found) from log debug: [...] 01.11.14 21:02:47.687 TRecordingEngine loadsetup load vcr 01.11.14 21:02:47.687 TWebMain Init Rootfolder missing 01.11.14 21:02:48.812 TRecordingEngine StartService load setup 01.11.14 21:02:48.812 TRecordingEngine Recorderservice Enabled 01.11.14 21:07:48.265 TEPGUpdater AllocateHardware Open failed 01.11.14 21:07:48.265 TEPGUpdater AllocateHardware Open failed [...] Thanks Link to comment

Derrick Posted November 2, 2014 Share Posted November 2, 2014 Your setup is not correct. If you use the RS you have to disable the hardware devices in the DVBViewer and replace it by virtual devices. Link to comment
