truenorth@vianet.net.au
Hello I recently updated to DVBViewer 6.0.4 and coincidentally received the latest creative update for Win 10 from Microsoft. Since receiving these two updates DVBViewer is having problems playing some DVDs - either they won't play at all or I get sound but no video (there are also some that play OK). I currently have LAV filters selected for DVD playback and the EVR Enhanced Render - I have tried other options but everything I've tried so far hasn't worked. The DVDs that have playback issues with DVBViewer can be played using the Microsoft DVD player without any issues so there are no hardware problems. Does anyone have any ideas I can try? Thanks for your assistance. Regards, TN Quote Link to comment
Griga
I can reproduce the issue with DVBViewer 6.0.4, LAV Filters, EVR Enhanced Video Renderer, Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and a purchased DVD. It works with the EVR Custom Video Renderer, though. It should preferably be used anyway. Quote Link to comment
truenorth@vianet.net.au
Hi Griga Thanks for your help. Good that you've been able to reproduce the problem. I've changed to the EVR Custom Video Renderer as you suggested but I still have no picture for some DVDs. Do you have any other suggestions? I've downloaded the latest LAV filters. truenorth@vianet.net.au
Hi Griga My mistake - I forgot to select EVR Custom Renderer under DVD Options (plus I had a DVD with a scratch on it which was confusing things) - playback is now working OK. Thanks for your help. Regards, TN Quote Link to comment
