Matthias27 Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Hi guys, i use DVBViewer Pro 4.8.1.0 with BluFuzz 16_09_11_05_29 and Mymovie 0.02.49. The option Mymovie Downloader works fine with all Movies and Folders on my internal SSD and HDD. But if i choose a folder from my external HDD (USB 2.0 WD My Book) i only get the message >> The following new directories/titles have been found << end If i copy the films and folders to internal every thing works fine again. I also see no reading process on my external HDD. So i tried only to choose the drive letter ( in my case G: ) and press "Start Download" Now i see a short reading process >> The following new directories/titles have been found << Directory : G:\DVD Fab\temp\Temp\FullDisc\FAIR_GAME_BD\BDMV\STREAM\ Search title : STREAM Matched title: Streamers, TMDB matching score: 0 Mediainfo :AVC, DTS-HD Description : Four young recruits about to be sent to Vietnam confront their prejudicial feelings toward one another when it's learned one of them is homosexual. esackbauer Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 (edited) Hi, I use the "Collection Manager" from www.mymovies.dk This is a great tool, it allows you to download movie descriptions in many languages. It also generates the mymovies.xml file for every movie. However, when I click on "import" in MyMovies Plugin in DVBViewer, nothing is imported. The mymovies.xml files can be read and interpreted with Media Center Master. Any ideas why it is not working? I prefer the Collection Manager over MCM because of its nice interface and Client/Server design. It is also free. Edited July 23, 2011 by esackbauer Quote
amontillado Posted July 23, 2011 Author Posted July 23, 2011 (edited) @Matthias27 I've never had a blu ray disk here and never looked at the file structure. I'll add it to the to do list but please note the bottom of this reply. @esackbauer If the .xml format of mymovies.dk is not the same as that of MCM it won't import it. I might add it but you need to send me an example of the xml as well as a discription of the used file structure (were are the movies and images stored/downloaded). But... I will most likely not spend a lot of time programming for the comming period (no idea how long) since my priorities have shifted to taking care of my sick daughter. Therefore I will not make any promises on if and when I will implement any of the requested changes. To be hones, I allready had to break my promise to hackbart (christian) on working for another plugin so whenever I find some time it will most likely me spend there and not on mymovies/myseries (since for the most part they do their job). With kind regards, Amontillado Edited July 23, 2011 by amontillado Quote

I think the BluRay structure isn´t the Problem, because i only use as working directory for creating ISO image. In normal case i have a ISO image in a folder named like the movie. If i have the folder with the ISO image on my internal HDD or SSD the Downloader gets informations. If i have the same folder with ISO image on my external i get nothing. Quote
reis Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Hi amontillado, hi everybody! I have spent some time to make the myMovies plug-in work last weekend and I have to say: it was worth it! Just what I was looking for! Yet I have several questions: 1. Where is the unwatched/watched status stored? The watched element of the mymovies.xml remains unchanged in my setup. 2. Why is the CDATA-Tag being displayed in the movie description? (I used MetaBrowser 2.0 whose mymovies.xml files seem to be MediaBrowser compliant.) 3. Also, some actor names arent shown correctly as if there was a character set problem. Is there a way for me to fix this? 4. Do I have to manage the categories by hand once it has been setup or should it be updated with new movies being added? 5. Sometimes, I need to press the MyMovies OSD menu entry twice to make MyMovies OSD page show up (e.g. in the Mediastream skin). Anyway, all the best to your daughter, amontillado! Reis Quote
amontillado Posted July 28, 2011 Author Posted July 28, 2011 please send me the xml so I can have a look at it if I have some time left. Quote
Matthias27 Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 If i copy the films and folders to internal every thing works fine again. I also see no reading process on my external HDD. Hi amontillado, i am stupid men. I didn´t said the truth with the text in quote, because i didn´t copied the folders from my external HDD to the internal because the ISO Images are so BIG and i want to save time. So i only create a folder with same Name as the folder from external ( in my case "Sammys Abenteuer" ) than i copied a sample file from windows media movie folder in this folder and also named it Sammys Abenteuer ( but i did´t change the file format, so the movie ends with .wmv). than i started the downloader and every thing works fine. After that i thought the problem was the file format and so i renamed my whole ISO files on external HDD from .iso to .wmv and start the downloader. And yeaaaa i get the movie folder pics, Backdrops and descriptions for all my movies. Than i renamed the files on HDD back from .wmv to .iso and corrected it in my movies plugin manuell the filepath "filename" also from .wmv to .iso There after every thing is working. It seems that the downloader didn´t recognise .iso files. but my test confirmed that there isn´t a problem with .iso files because as they had the ending .wmv the downloads start. Currently i have a workaround, but is there a chance for next update to recognise also .iso ??? Quote

derloe Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 (edited) there is no support for vcdmount, only virtualclone and daemon tools (lite). Well, its quite a while but the problem for me still exists... and I think vcdmount IS virtualclone drive, thats the name of the exe in the meantime I tried daemon tools lite too (name of the exe is DTLite) but I stilll have no automount, no error message just a warning that i should make sure the dvd is in the drive... Any help for this, can I misfigure something? I remember it once worked in one of the prior versions of DVBViewer thanks a lot Edited August 30, 2011 by derloe Quote
kamiso Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 How to add informations about movies from Media Center Master to MyMovies ? Quote
esackbauer Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 How to add informations about movies from Media Center Master to MyMovies ? First you need to make sure that each movie has its own folder. In this folder there should be a "mymovies.xml" file which is generated by MCM. After that you can run DVBViewer, go to Options, select MyMovies Plugin and press the "Import" Button. Then all movies should be available in the plugin. Quote
krasno Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 hi is it possible to arrange movies like series? somewhere in My Movies under Options? forexample all bond movies in correct order? earlier I did it this way, changed folder names like this, a little clumsy: (It's only an example) 007 1 For your eyes only 007 2 Casino Royal to get them appear in correct order. Quote
krasno Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 This is a warning !!!!!!! Media Center Master can seriously mess up your movies, folders, movie names, info and backdrops amd so on. I have 3 tb drives that are messed up totally. Movie pictures are in wrong languages,(folder pics) forexample some movies have the Spanish version of the cover picture added. Some Italian, some non english movies ( danish movies) are named in English, German, Italian and Spanish. Too many file names (.ts and MKV) are also wrong and in wrong languages. Some movies are renamed to wrong titles, for exampe the movie Aliens ended with foldername, title, backdrops and info from a movie called Monster Aliens ( a cartoon) Some moves are simple gone, maybe renamed? for example at the moment I cant find Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, it is totally gone. The only way to clear this mess, as I see it at the moment, is to move all movie files out of the folders, delete folders, start one move at the time to check it really is the move it is named to be, and then rename it in correct language to the correct title. ouuch.. I know what to do the rest of the weekend.. and it had been faster to get backdrops and all that manually! So be careful with that program, it looks smart, but is not !!! so I think I'll return to the old default skin, before I try something like this again Quote
krasno Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) After several evenings work I got all files foldes and so on back on the track!! biiig work I tell you.. That is one thing Then I tried this evening on the second PC (let's call that PC B ) I am building to work as HTPC to set-up Mymovies with the paths on the other old PC (let's call that PC A), but that is not possible, I can see the files on PC A in Options/Mymovies "path" on PC B , and choose the folder ( or drive)on B, but when I press "OK" nothing happens, understood this way: no paths are added. why?.. As info I can say that it IS possible to start a movie from a folder on A from DVBViewer/Open video on B, so it is not a network problem, or something like that. As I see it there should not be any difference if the path is on the network or on the local PC? or am I wrong here? Thanx for any help in advance Edited February 17, 2012 by krasno Quote
jasch Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Hi, first of all Thx for your nice work with mymovies and myseries. Iam still using 0.02.47, because with 0.02.49 i have 2 small issues. 1. When browsing through my MovieLibery with the 0.02.49 the Background are delayed, i mean when you scroll fast through the List not all will be displayed. With 0.02.47 this is no Problem(i have testet this on 3 differnt Systems all the same). 2. Iam using MovieSeries groupping. With new Version i cannot have different Viewes(list,Thumb)there. Listview in Movielist and when i go in my for example 007 folder thumbview. (if i change view it is changed global, with 47 this was working) This are not very big things, but maybe you can have a lock. (Sorry if my spelling is bad) MFG Alex Quote

I think it is associated to MCM, refetching the meta data from the movies in MCM did not solve the problem. Is anyone experiencing the same problems with MCM? Had the same problem. It looks like the default metadata file from MCM is now movies.xml, and all mymovies.xml are replacede by movies.xml when upgrading MCM. So when Mymovies are looking for metadata it does not find an appropriate xml file. I solved it by checking the "create mymovies.xml copy..." in MCM settings under Metadata. This solves the problem for new movies. To recreate mymovies.xml for the old movies: select all movies in MCM and choose create metadata copy (or something like that) from the right click menu. Quote
donjuan Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Hi amontillado, It has been a long time I have been away from DVBViewer and now I use it more frequently than before.About 2 years ago, I have ran into a problem about the utf-8 encoding and you have made a few modifications in the mymovies.dll . The problem was, Turkish characters such as ş,ğ,ü,ç,ı and ö was corrupted in the mymovies film, actor info sections. And those days, I was using mediacenter master or yammm to import into mymovies database and the modified version you provided was working in the beginning then it recerted back to garbaged text. Now my feedback to you is, with the new autoupdate feature and auto database import settings in mymovies options, the result is garbaged text again for Turkish characters. My OS is Win7 x86 SP1 Region settings Turkey and Keyboard is Turkish Q Type Now, do you think you can fix this issue with Turkish characters? I will be able to send you some files in the evening if you request anything to fix this. And also I have a second question if you don't mind.Do you know how I can add "Delete this movie from database" to context menu in mymovies page which is triggered by the Blue remote button? I personally tried this setting from Mymovies options page so that yellow button deletes the focused movie from database but it did not work, so I want to add it to context menu if there is such a way. Thank you for your valuable time, hope yo get a reply ASAP. Quote
Ich habe mir schon die mymovies.db3 Datei komplett angeschaut, konnte allerdings keinen entsprechenden Eintrag finden. krasno Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 (edited) Not sure what you mean exactly, but: I do it this way: first I open the program Mediacenter master and set "scan folders" in "Application". Then I update ( refresh) all movie info's ( also in Mediacenter master) Then check that the folders where you have your movies stored in DVBViewer in "options" "mymovies " undet "path" are correct, if not change them. then I press "Import" ( if you use recordService, then also remember to change patch'es - before you "import" in "Service Options" Media libraries" there are a button called "my Movies" It takes looong time to import depending on how many movies you have stored on your drives of course. Mediacenter Master can be downloaded here: http://www.mediacentermaster.com/ if you don't have it.. If you have not used that before you have to set up several things in "prefrences" under "aplication", there are really many settings, but you generally don't have to change them all, but depending on how you want filenames to look and so on. ( be carefull with the option change filenames ( and also folder names), I once made a big mistake by doing that without thinking first.. so be sure what it is you want to do, before you do it..) every single movies ( *.ts, *,MKV and so on) must be in their own folder, these folder also should be in a folder called for example "movies" in other words not directly in the root of a drive. I never used it.. What OSD skin do you use? What I think is a problem generally- is a better OSD skin, than the ones that are available. but that is another story of course.. Something like XBMC, that are not realy stable... looks good, but what a mess, endless updates and crashes. Last time I tried it, about a year ago, I spend more time to get it to work than watching TV. Quote
