Recording service stream workaround for non-flash android

Hi all just a quick workaround that should work for most android devices (not all).

 

1. Download the file streamint3.html

2. Navigate to C:\(Instalation folder)\DVBViewer\SVCweb\iphone

3. Rename streamint3.html to streamint3.html.bak

4. Paste downloaded file on same folder

 

The way this works is you access the iphone interface from your android device and then after you press the "start stream" a little gray button saying "Stream to alternative" should appear on the bottom, press it and the android should start to play the stream on the default player.

 

This only a dirty quick fix don't expect much from it.

Hello

It has been working for a long time, but now it don't.

I do press the "stream to alternative" and the player start, but I get the message "this video can not be played"

Normally that happens after a DVBViewer update until the stream3html file has been replaced, ( I have done that of course)

 

Any idea what goes wrong?

Use an alternative player to play the videos. I recommend VLC or MX Player. This should work mostly.

Good idea, it works.

 

For people like me, who had a working Flash Player before updating to Android 4.2, it would be helpful to eliminate the flow Player from html code.

 

Otherwise the browser freezes.
